Well hello, I’m back indeed. I have arrived from the South of France and just wanted to say best wishes to my good friend Steven Reed (or RED in a French accent) and his new bride Liesbeth. It was great to be the best man even if I was the ONLY brown face in the village, which got considerably darker with the 30 degree heat!

It was a great week filled with fun, laughter, awesome company and not forgetting the tummy filling food! Even better was to catch up with old friends and meet new people who you get on with. The week made me realise there are still some good people out there in the world. It was nice to just switch off for the week, which I haven’t done for a while and have some fun! Unfortunately I didn’t get to cop off with a bridesmaid but the speech I did as best man seemed to go down well!

I’m not going to post pictures of the whole wedding, but I thought I would show you guys a couple I took.

Bride of Chucky

Now this is the Church that the couple got married in, we did manage to find “The Bride of Chucky” in one of the alcoves! If anyone out there can tell me why you would put such a scary statuette in a Church, I’m all ears!

I also got to do some painting, which I haven’t done in years, well I say painting, I was using the iPad whilst everyone was waiting for their canvases to dry! Muhahaha! Well I didn’t say it was good or that I had finished it but that’s not the point. If you ever want to get away for a week and do some painting, make sure you check Steve’s residential holidays. Just click his name above.
