As you must know unless you live under a rock or have been out protesting, yesterday was the national day for love. Not to be mistaken for luuuuurrrvve, that happens everyday or hardly at all for some people! But I like many, I say BAH HUMBUG to this day of Valentines! PAH!
Now, this is in no way because I’m single, living with the parents or can’t find a date (I think). No, it’s because I would choose to show my partner that they are appreciated everyday and not just on that one, well that’s my excuse anyway and I’m sticking to it!
So what did I do yesterday you may ask?! well, nothing and it felt so good! I wonder if I’ll ever get married. I’m 28, single, Asian and I’m a stand up comic – basically a social leper in the “community”. Still, it could be worse… I don’t need to resort to shaadi.com just yet!
Hmm, maybe I should venture out and start dating again… all you women can’t be that bad can you!?
